CAT's 2026 Dog Mountain service April 11th-June 7th.

The Dog Mountain Shuttle is free! Permits are required to hike Dog Mountain, and all Dog Mountain Shuttle riders receive a free stamp which serves as your permit for the day. Connections to the Columbia Gorge Express can be made by transferring to the Cascade Locks bus stop. This service will operate on weekends April 11th - June 7th, and Memorial Day May 25, 2026 during peak wildflower season. The shuttle will operate every 30 minutes. Dog Mountain Shuttle Schedule

– When planning your trip remember that CAT will not be transporting people to the trailhead after 1pm and the last shuttle leaves from the trailhead for the fairgrounds at 5 pm.
